Company formation

Your LLC in Georgia. Formed by power of attorney.

StartKap prepares your company formation, registers it in Georgia under a power of attorney and, if you wish, supports your business account application. You prepare the certified documents at home – there is no need to travel to Georgia.

  • No travelFormation by power of attorney and the remote procedures accepted by the bank.
  • One dedicated contactFrom your preferred company name to registration, one person looks after you.
  • 3–5 working daysusual registration time once all originals have arrived and been processed – not a guaranteed deadline.

Which structure fits?

The Georgian LLC is the usual form for a limited-liability company. LLC Simple covers the formation; the combined package adds preparation and support for your business account application with TBC or Bank of Georgia.

If you work alone and do not need limited liability, a sole proprietorship may be an alternative. Whether Georgia suits your plans depends on your activity, residence and tax position – we discuss this openly before any engagement.

Questions about this service

Can I set up the company and bank account without travelling?

Yes. You do not need to travel to Georgia for company formation or account opening through StartKap. We handle the local process under a power of attorney and coordinate the bank’s approved remote procedures. You prepare the required certified and apostilled documents in your country of stay. The bank remains responsible for reviewing and approving the account application.

How long does registration usually take?

Allow around 3–5 business days once all required original documents are complete and correctly prepared. Missing information, translation work and processing by the authorities can extend the timeline.

Who pays for certification, apostilles and delivery?

You pay for certification and apostilles in your country of origin or residence. Translation into Georgian and further processing in Georgia fall within the agreed package scope. You also pay for delivery to Georgia unless your quotation states otherwise.

Can foreign nationals form a company?

Generally, yes. Sanctions, anti-money-laundering requirements, bank policies or other compliance checks may impose restrictions in individual cases. Have your particular circumstances assessed in advance.
