StartKap assists with company formation and business and personal bank account applications in Georgia, including document preparation, coordination with service providers and procedural support. The real estate page provides an initial project overview.

Banks and competent bodies independently decide on accounts, cards, registrations and status applications. Outcomes and processing times therefore cannot be guaranteed.

Content and cost examples provide general guidance. They do not replace an individual assessment by authorised legal, tax or financial advisers. Services commissioned are governed by the individual quotation.

04Content and external references

We maintain the content with care, without guaranteeing completeness, currency or suitability for a particular purpose. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected. External providers are responsible for their own content. Please report suspected infringements to the email address above so that we can review them.

02Applicable law and processing purposes

Where the GDPR applies, relevant grounds include Article 6(1)(b) for enquiries and contracts, (c) for legal obligations and (f) for necessary secure operation and appropriate communication. Processing based on your consent relies on (a); you may withdraw that consent for the future. Georgian data protection law may also apply.

03Website access and technical delivery

Accessing the website transmits technical connection data to the hosting infrastructure, particularly your IP address, access time, requested file and browser information. This is needed for delivery, operational security and troubleshooting. Where the GDPR applies, necessary operation relies on Article 6(1)(f).

The website is hosted by Host Europe GmbH, Hansestraße 111, 51149 Cologne, Germany; e-mails to StartKap are processed via Microsoft Exchange at Host Europe. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Host Europe. The host keeps server logs only as long as necessary for operation and security; details are in Host Europe’s privacy policy ↗.

04Cost calculator and document checklist

The website processes your selected costs, quantities, unit prices and checklist ticks in browser memory. It does not transmit these inputs to StartKap or store them in its own database. Reloading restores the initial values. When you use a copy function, you initiate placing the selected text on your clipboard.

05Contact form and enquiries

Submitting the contact form sends your email address, message and topic, plus any name and company details you choose to provide, to the website’s own server. It passes the enquiry by email to [email protected]. We process it to reply and, where relevant, prepare a contract. Where the GDPR applies, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f), depending on the enquiry.

Using the form creates a necessary security session valid for at most 20 minutes. A random token protects submission. Short-lived pseudonymous counters, without message content, limit abuse. They are valid for no more than one hour; expired counters are cleaned up on subsequent requests. The form does not create a separate message database. After sending, enquiries are held in the mailbox according to their purpose and legal retention obligations.

The confirmation means the mail server accepted the enquiry for onward delivery; it does not prove inbox receipt. You may email us directly instead. Send passport copies and other confidential documents only through a channel agreed with StartKap.

06Client, contract and formation documents

When you commission services, identity documents, powers of attorney, activity and company details, tax information, billing data and correspondence may be required. The scope and purpose depend on your instructions and applicable verification and retention duties.

Necessary information may be shared with banks, authorities, notaries, translators, authorised advisers and technical providers involved in carrying out the service. Independently deciding bodies process information under their own responsibility; processors must be engaged in accordance with applicable requirements.

07Cookies, privacy settings and Google Analytics

No advertising or marketing trackers are embedded. The application uses neither Local Storage nor Session Storage. Fonts and images are served locally. After your selection, startkap_privacy remembers only your acknowledgement of the privacy notice for 180 days, without a personal identifier. Reopen or reset it at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Google Analytics 4. Only if you choose “Allow statistics” in the cookie notice do we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* (up to 14 months) and processes usage data such as pages viewed, device and browser information and approximate location; Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Google signals and advertising features are disabled. Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement with Google is in place. You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer; the analytics cookies are then deleted. When you use the contact form, the PHP server sets the necessary startkap_contact cookie for at most 20 minutes. It protects the form session, uses HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict and, on HTTPS, Secure. Necessary storage is used only for the requested function.

We do not sell data or share it for behavioural advertising. Optional trackers remain off, including when a Global Privacy Control signal is enabled. Any future optional services require their own information and any necessary prior consent.

08Maps, videos, social media and external links

Google Maps, YouTube and social profiles are not embedded in this website. You choose whether to open map, source, provider and social links. The external provider processes the resulting connection and usage data under its own terms when you visit its service. If you hold a signed-in account there, activity may be associated with your profile.

Consult the relevant provider’s information, such as Google’s privacy policy ↗ for Google services. The respective platform’s information also applies to official StartKap profiles.

09Processing outside the EEA

StartKap is based in Georgia. When you contact us or commission services, data may be processed there and by participating providers outside the European Economic Area. Where a transfer falls within Chapter V GDPR, an additional valid transfer ground is required, such as an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards. Statutory derogations apply only under their specific conditions.

We can explain the recipients and safeguards envisaged for your particular engagement on request. This policy does not assert that a standard contractual clauses agreement has already been concluded.

10Retention and deletion

Incoming enquiries, contract and billing records are retained according to their processing purpose, applicable statutory periods and the necessary establishment or defence of claims. Data must then be deleted or anonymised. Technical server logs are deleted according to the host’s retention periods.

11Your rights

Where the GDPR applies and its relevant conditions are met, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for the future. You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time.

Contact [email protected]. You may also complain to a competent supervisory authority, particularly in the country of your habitual residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. The European Data Protection Board ↗ explains these rights.

12Security, automated decisions and changes

HTTPS is intended for the hosted website. Email transmission also depends on your email provider; complete internet security cannot be assured. The calculator produces only a comparison example that you edit, and makes no legally effective automated decisions about you. Banks and authorities are responsible for their own decisions.
