Business account
A business account is held by your company, so the company comes first. StartKap registers your LLC in Georgia under a power of attorney and then prepares and supports the business account application with TBC or Bank of Georgia. The bank alone decides on the account, the account model and any cards.
This service within the StartKap foundation
A business account is held in the name of your Georgian LLC and is used for the company’s payments. A personal account is held in your own name; StartKap supports it separately for €1,000 one-off.
Each bank reviews applications under its own KYC rules and may request additional documents, for example on the company’s activities, representation or beneficial owners. Support with an application is not a guarantee that an account will be opened.

The combined package names two banks. Which one fits depends on your activity, your planned payments and the bank’s own review.
SOLO belongs to Bank of Georgia. Business account assistance with SOLO is not part of the combined package; it may be considered on an individual basis, subject to the bank’s eligibility rules. Approval is not promised. The logos identify each bank. They do not imply that an account will be opened.

Yes. You do not need to travel to Georgia for company formation or account opening through StartKap. We handle the local process under a power of attorney and coordinate the bank’s approved remote procedures. You prepare the required certified and apostilled documents in your country of stay. The bank remains responsible for reviewing and approving the account application.

Generally, yes. Sanctions, anti-money-laundering requirements, bank policies or other compliance checks may impose restrictions in individual cases. Have your particular circumstances assessed in advance.
You pay for certification and apostilles in your country of origin or residence. Translation into Georgian and further processing in Georgia fall within the agreed package scope. You also pay for delivery to Georgia unless your quotation states otherwise.
